Digital painting done in Photoshop using a wacom. Subject is the nation of Japan embodied as a woman rising from the sea in front of Mt. Fuji on the Japanese coastline. Woman has an "anime" feel as a cultural iconic representation of the Japanese pop culture. Took around 8 hours to complete.
